Camping Regulations
Welcome to Camping Waterhout!
We would like to ask your attention for the rules that apply to our park. We do everything we can to make you feel at home. For questions or comments, you can always contact the reception. In case of a complaint, do not wait until you check out, but report it immediately so that we can provide a solution. Of course, we would also like to hear when you are having a good time, we wish you a wonderful time!
In case of emergency, you can call 06-24823334 outside opening hours.
Arrival and departure
Our reception is open from 9:00 in the morning for questions, information or to use our brasserie.
Tourist Camping
You are welcome from 14:00. Upon arrival, report to the reception and go to your assigned place. Per pitch, six people, one camping vehicle and one means of transport are allowed, these are registered in the name of the owner, so no use by others. You can park other vehicles in the parking lot for a fee.
Party tents are not allowed because of the chance that they will blow away and cause accidents.
There is 10 amp electricity on the pitches. Guests who stay with us for a short stay (up to 1 month) are entitled to 5 kWh per day. If you use more, you will be charged at € 0.55 per kWh. The meter reading is always available at the reception.
On the day of departure, the time of departure is no later than 12:00. You can book a late departure for a small additional fee. Please check with reception to see if this is possible.
On departure, we expect you to leave your place neat and clean.
Please dispose of waste separately in the designated waste containers at the exit. Our containers are intended for paper, glass and household waste. Green waste may be disposed of at the dump next to the animal meadow. You must take bulky waste to the recycling centre yourself.
Accommodations
Arrival is from 14:00 and departure is before 12:00.
On arrival, report to reception and go to your assigned accommodation.
On departure, we expect you to leave everything neat and clean, put your belongings back in the right place, do the dishes, throw away the rubbish and leave the accommodation swept clean.
Did you miss something? Did something break? Or did you just really enjoy it? Let us know!
Monthly pitches
As of the 2023 camping year, seasonal monthly guests pay for electricity use. You pay €0.50 per kWh. At the end of your stay, you ensure payment for your electricity use. Of course, your meter reading can always be requested at reception. We ask you to keep your pitch tidy and to throw away waste in the designated containers.
The grass is mowed very regularly. We ask you to take care of the grass and greenery around your caravan/tent yourself, we cannot reach this with the lawn mower. You can borrow tools from us for this.
Visit
Visitors must always register and pay. The visitor rate is €1.00 per person and they must leave the site before 23:00. Visitors park their cars in the visitor parking lot for a fee of €1.00
The house rules also apply to your guests. You are responsible for ensuring that they are aware of this and comply with it.
Pets
Your pet is allowed on our campsite, in the brasserie and on the terrace, provided it is kept on a short leash. Please note that not all visitors like dogs. Walk your dog outside the campsite and always clean up after yourself. Dogs are not allowed in the sanitary building. Dogs of your visitors are not allowed on the campsite, but they are allowed in the brasserie.
Parking and vehicles
Only park your vehicle in your own space, not at your neighbours', even if this space is still empty. We ask you to drive as little as possible on the campsite. The maximum speed is 5 km/h. Think of playing children! Vans are placed in the parking lot and not with the camping equipment. Motorcycles, scooters or mopeds are not allowed on the site. Park these in the parking lot.
Sanitary building
Children under the age of 6 must always use the sanitary building under the supervision of an adult. Keep the sanitary buildings clean and tidy. It is not permitted to use the sanitary building as a playground or hangout. We expect every guest to leave the toilet building clean after use. If necessary, please give your children instructions on how to use the toilet, shower and sinks. Please dry the floor after showering.
You can empty toilet buckets or your chemical toilet in the "chemical toilet room". These are located on the outside of our sanitary buildings. Keep this room clean as well. We request that you use environmentally friendly cleaning products. Furthermore, it is prohibited to use moist toilet paper, baby wipes and the like. This causes blockages in our sewerage system.
You can wash dishes at the designated sinks on the outside front of the buildings. Washing dishes inside the building is not permitted.
Our sanitary buildings have special areas for disabled people and families. You can use these areas. The keys to these areas can be borrowed from our reception.
Think of the environment and think of each other, be economical with water!

Also consider in advance whether your behaviour could cause a nuisance. The night's rest starts at 23:00 and lasts until 7:00. You may still speak softly, but music is no longer allowed.
Respect each other's well-deserved vacation and night's rest.
If you notice an unsafe situation, contact the reception or the emergency number immediately.
Fire, wood and BBQ
If you want, you can BBQ at your camping spot, but always do so responsibly. Protect the grass and prevent smoke development. Do not bother your neighbours and watch your children!
Of course you can also use the fire pit at the Brasserie. Discuss this with one of our employees. Always put out the fire and do not throw hot coals in our waste bins.
Sustainability
The campsite is located in a natural environment and that is one of the reasons why we find caring for a good environment very important. The buildings are self-sufficient and the site lighting is solar-powered.
Be economical with water and electricity. It is also important that you dispose of your waste separately at the waste bins.
Boats
There is insufficient space at the jetty to leave your boat after sailing, this also applies to small boats. It is mandatory to take the boat out of the water after sailing. A maximum of one small rubber boat on a hand trailer is allowed at your spot. For larger boats you can reserve a place at the boat shed.
Fishing
Our campsite is surrounded by water, so there is plenty of space to fish. Rods and other equipment may not be left unattended. Night fishing is only permitted when the fisherman is present and without a beeper.
Smoking/alcohol/drugs
Smoking and vaping are not permitted at the reception, the brasserie, the sanitary buildings and all rental accommodations. You may smoke on our terrace in the designated smoking area. Please throw cigarette butts properly extinguished in the ashtray.
The consumption of alcohol is permitted at your camping spot, in and on the terrace of the Brasserie.
The use of (soft) drugs and laughing gas is not permitted on our entire campsite.
AED / Emergency services
There is an AED at the front of the Brasserie. Call 112 and warn our staff, they are trained to assist you with the use of the AED. The lock code is 112.
Do you need an emergency service? Our barriers are equipped with SOS access, so that the emergency services can reach your camping spot. Always warn our employees, they can assist you.
Fire extinguishers
On our campsite you can find fire extinguishers in the red cabinets in the sanitary buildings, the Brasserie and in the shed. In case of fire, always warn our employees.
